Day 1
Meeting and transfer from the airport to Bishkek. Accommodation in a hotel. A little bit rest after the flight, then we start our city tour. First, we will visit Osh bazaar, an oriental market where you can find almost anything – from dairy products and dried fruits to souvenirs and national hats. After that, we will walk on one of the main streets – Chui Avenue, and will see the highlights of Bishkek – Philharmonic, Ala-Too square, Erkindik boulevard, The Historical Museum. The last one is especially interesting for us, allowing to immerge to the past of Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyz people and to dive into the local culture. We will also have a walk in the Oak Park, and then take our car and return to the hotel.

Day 2
Our destination for today is Chon-Kemin valley, famous for its beautiful forests and mountains. On the way there we will stop at the Burana tower, an ancient building dated from the 10th century that was built during the blossom of The Great Silk Road. The lunch will be by the Dungan family – the Chinese muslim people that came to Kyrgyzstan at the end of 19th century. Their cuisine is remarkable and worth tasting! In the afternoon we will arrive to Chon-Kemin valley, where we can have a walk or have a horseback riding for 1-2 hours.

Day 3
We continue our trip by going to Karakol city, situated in the east of Issyk-Kul Lake, one of the biggest high alpine lakes in the world (1607 m above sea level). The road will lead us through beautiful sceneries of Issyk-Kul Lake, its north shore. On the way we will stop to visit an open-air museum of petroglyphs – the ancient stone drawings. In the afternoon we will arrive to Karakol, will have a visit to its main highlights – The Dungan Mosque – unique building, an only one mosque made with Chinese style. And The Russian Orthodox Church, that is made from wood in the end of 19th century.

Day 4
Today we head to Jyrgalan valley, previously a miners’ village, now a popular tourist destination all year round. Its pristine nature attracts many people from all over the world, in summer for trekking, and in winter for skiing and ski touring. We will enjoy the surrounding mountains, will go through beautiful forest and will have a walk in the village. Also you can have a horseback riding here for 1-2 hours. Return to Karakol.

Day 5
Our place of interest for the morning is Jeti-Oguz valley, a big red rock formation that translates from Kyrgyz language as “Seven Bulls”. We will have a small walk there, and continue our way along the south shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Then, we will visit a famous Fairytale canyon (Skazka canyon), the sandy rocks of different shapes and colors. A short stroll there to admire the surroundings, and we continue our road to Bokonbaevo village, where we will have the possibility of meeting a real eagle-hunter, a representative of an ancient nomadic art of hunting. He will show and tell us about this activity in more detail. In the afternoon, we will visit a family that produces yurts – Kyrgyz nomad dwellings used for generations.

Day 6
Return to Bishkek. On the way we will make a stop to have a walk of 2-3 hours to see beautiful Konorchek canyons. The way there is particular itself, we will need to go by the riverbed surrounded by rocky mountains. Arriving to Bishkek in the afternoon. Free time to buy souvenirs etc. before the flight.
Escort to the airport. End of the program.
