Day 1
Bishkek
Arriving to the capital of Kyrgyzstan – Bishkek. Exploring its main highlights and
historical places:
-Ala-Too square, a place where all national holidays are held and the center of the
city
-State History Museum, the biggest museum in Kyrgyzstan and one of the biggest
in Central Asia, divided into 3 floors, each one of them is dedicated to the certain
period: ancient times, foundation of Kyrgyz people and items of its culture, and the
newest history of Kyrgyzstan
-Osh bazaar, the oriental market where you can find miscellaneous items, from dried
fruits and sweets to souvenirs and traditional clothes.
After a city-tour we will make an acquaintance to the Kyrgyz cuisine, famous and
appreciated by many tourists all over the world.
Day 2
Bishkek – Burana – Chon-Kemin
We will visit Burana architectural complex to learn more about the history of The Great Silk Road, which ran in ancient times through the country. One of the few remnants of the blossom of this period is the Burana tower,
that we will visit on this day and see the objects belonging to the Silk Road era.
Then we head to Chon-Kemin valley. There we will stop in a guest house, have some tea
and will make a walking in the valley, bordered by coniferous forests.

Day 3
Chon-Kemin – Kok-Moinok – Cholpon-Ata
We drive to the next point – Kok-Moinok canyons, where the shape of the rocks is
similar to unusual natural castles. To get to the beautiful viewpoint we need to walk
a little (around 40 minutes there and 40 minutes back).

Then we continue our route to Cholpon-Ata resort town, situated on the north shore
of Issyk-Kul, an alpine lake (second biggest alpine lake in the world!) that doesn’t
freeze in winter.

Day 4
Cholpon-Ata – Kyrchyn - Karakol
Next, we will go to Karakol town, which is mostly popular among tourists because
of its beautiful nature (hikes in summer) and biggest ski station in Kyrgyzstan. On
the way we will visit two gorges – Grigorievskoe and Semenovskoe, as well as the
valley situated in between – Kyrchyn, where the World Nomad Games 2018 were
held.
Arriving to Karakol, a visit to its highlights: The Russian Orthodox Church (end of
the 19th century) and The Dungan Mosque with Chinese style (made without using
any nails).
We will be accommodated in a hotel or a guest house in Karakol.
Day 5
Karakol – Jeti-Oguz
We head westwards along the south shore of Issyk-Kul lake and will see a beautiful
red rock formation – Jeti-Oguz (translated as “Seven bulls” from Kyrgyz language).
The sceneries over the mountains and the valley are outstanding and definitely are
worth visiting, and especially in winter – covered by snow, the red rocks (Jeti-Oguz)
are extremely beautiful.
Then we will go to Kok-Jayik valley, also known as “The Valley of flowers” during
the spring season, this place is used as a pasture during the summer time. A hike to
get to this beautiful place, in the evening we will be accommodated in a yurt. Away
from the city lights, this place can offer an outstanding view to starry sky!

Day 6
Jeti-Oguz – Jyrgalan - Karakol
A visit to picturesque Jyrgalan valley, where during Soviet period was a blossoming
miner’s village, but after the collapse of the Union it became less popular, and only
recently this place became a popular tourist destination for all-year activities, in
summer for hikes and treks, and in winter for free-ride skiing, snowboarding, ski
touring and other activities. We will have a whole day to explore this beautiful spot.
Return to Karakol. Delicious dinner in a local café.

Day 7
Karakol – Juuku - Karakol
A day-visit to Juuku valley, a beautiful spot in the proximity to Karakol
town, where we will admire the beauty of pristine nature of this place. After a hike,
return to Karakol city.
Day 8
Karakol – Barskoon - Tamga
We continue our way to Barskoon valley to have a beautiful view over the
surrounding mountains, and will try to hike to the nearest waterfalls, hidden in the
forest. We will take our food with us and will make a picnic in a stunning nature
surrounding us!

Day 9
Tamga – Skazka - Ton
In the morning we head to Skazka (Fairytale) canyon, that has this name because of
various rocks with different shapes that may be similar to some animals or objects,
as they have come from a fairytale.
After that we will meet a real eagle-hunter, a man who will tell us about this ancient
art of hunting and will make a demonstration of the way of how he and his eagle
work. You will see how this bird of prey can work in a team with a man and will
have a notion of how that process functions.
Arriving to one of the villages situated on the south shore of Issyk-Kul, free time to
enjoy the beautiful lake.

Day 10
Ton – Konorchek - Bishkek
The last day of our trip will be spent on the road to Bishkek – the capital of
Kyrgyzstan. On the way we will stop to see Konorchek canyons, the local version of The Grand
Canyon, even the way there is breathtaking by itself – we will take a path on the
dried riverbed between two walls of rocks!
Upon arriving, time to visit Osh market to buy some souvenirs.

Transfer to the airport.
End of the program.
