Hike to the waterfall in Alamedin gorge in early spring
Kyrgyzstan is a unique region, surrounded by mountains everywhere, and they guard their inhabitants like majestic guardians. There are places rich in medicinal herbs and useful natural springs in almost every region, and there are many of them in the Alamedin Gorge. Yurts are located on the banks of the stormy Alamedin River in spring and summer.

From early spring tourists come to wander along the mountain trails, see the waterfall and just breathe in the fresh air. Herds of horses graze everywhere, and there is plenty of grass for horses.
In the spring, people specially come to these places to drink the healing mare's milk, useful for those who suffer from various ailments. Here you can explore the entire natural treasure trove - collect mountain onions, garlic chives, licorice root, edible mushrooms, berries.

Medicinal herbs such as thyme, sage, ephedra, oregano, St. John's wort, yarrow, nettle, mint, strawberry, black currant and many other useful plants grow in abundance starting from April-May. In autumn, hawthorn, barberry, sea buckthorn, rosehip, and black elderberry are harvested.
How Alamedin gorge looks in early spring
This mountainous region is favored by cycling and hiking tourists. And it is very popular among climbers - the peaks of the glaciers rise above the entire valley.
There are several lakes in the heart of the gorge beyond the Alamedin Waterfall. Juniper and juniper forests, numerous shrubs and flowering glades are found everywhere.

Nature lovers climb higher along the trails to admire the waterfall, climb to the mountain peaks or sit by the mountain river. Townspeople often travel to this gorge, build bonfires, relax on a cot and just walk around the area.

Since Soviet times, the Teplye Klyuchi (Warm Springs) resort has been located here, there is a pool with warm water from a natural radon spring. There are cottages near the pool - vouchers to the sanatorium can be purchased today, or you can order a cot by the river or stay in guest yurts for a few days for a fee to improve your health by drinking mare's milk daily.
