There are a lot of beautiful and picturesque gorges on the Kyrgyz land, but this one is special, caressed by the rays of the sun, warmed by underground springs, fanned by gentle winds, cherished in the palms of Allah himself… You will see this at the entrance to one of the most beautiful gorges. The road is difficult, thorny and winding, with obstacles and barriers - you just can't get there that easily. We need special transport and ... the blessing of the Almighty, that's why those who have and reached these wonderful places are considered lucky.

Since ancient times, the Kyrgyz have had a legend about each gorge, that the mountainous area has its own master spirit, which usually settles in a clean place - at a natural spring. That is why the ancient Kyrgyz left a piece of flatbread at the entrance to the gorge, asking for permission to safely travel inside the possessions of the mountains. One can be skeptical about the legend, but a true Kyrgyz will not rampage in such a place - the attitude to nature is careful. I wish this rule would be instilled in everyone who comes here and to other protected areas - to be sensitive to the environment, not to litter, not to kill animals and birds, and to protect nature.

Altyn Arashan means "Golden Spring" in Kyrgyz, and this area can be called the Valley of healing Springs, because the area is full of springs containing hydrogen sulfide and radon. The temperature of these waters at any time of the year is 35 degrees in radon waters and 41 degrees in hydrogen sulfide waters. There are indoor pools and outdoor stone baths and grottoes.

Baths can be taken in stone recesses, while looking at the sparkling snow around, and clouds of blue steam will rise from natural baths. And, considering that you are at a record height of 2600 meters above sea level to take a bath, emotions are also overwhelmed by a record amount - from delight to overflowing feelings.
And at the same time, inaccessible mountains, centuries-old coniferous giants, and clouds floating high in the sky also look down and make part of this unforgettable ambiance.

Mountain slopes loom like guards over the rushing river, winding through the gorge like a giant silver snake. The gorge is full of fragrant mountain flowers, shrubs, and trees. Slender Tien Shan fir trees, like fashionistas on a catwalk, are clustered by impenetrable forests mixed with thickets of wild herbs. The aromas of meadow flowers attract hundreds of butterflies, bumblebees, and bees. Everything is buzzing, chirping, as if nature is in dialogue with itself. What words can describe such a wonderful picture. You just need to come and see it with your own eyes- waterfalls, river, mountains, sun and flowers.

And the peaks of the gorge's mountain peaks attract new climbers, who are also in a hurry to climb the gorge's treasure trove – a peak with a gentle surface called the Ak-Suu wall. Through the gorge, you can go to the Jeti-Oguz, Kok-Jaiyk, Ak-Suu gorges, as well as to the high-altitude lake Alakul.
