A huge number of resorts, hotels, guest houses, yurt camps, recreation centers, bars, cafes, restaurants, food outlets, amusement parks, a huge Ferris wheel, roller coasters, pools, hot springs and so much more are concentrated on the northern shore of Issyk-Kul. In the summer season, it attracts thousands and thousands of vacationers, tourists and guests from near and far abroad. There is nowhere to fall on the beaches, and there is no deserted place for a secluded holiday.

The southern shore attracts those who want to relax away from the hustle, bustle, and crowds, although recently the south of the lake has become increasingly popular. There is not such a huge selection of restaurants and cafes, there is not much that the north coast is famous for, but it is these sparsely populated beaches that attract hundreds of tourists to Kaji Sai. And in Kaji Say, you can choose good hotels, guest houses, yurt camps, camp sites and recreation areas. You can also find a lot of places for a secluded vacation, wild beaches of your choice.

During the Soviet era, the village was famous for the fact that brown coal, uranium were mined in this area, and Kaji-Say was supported by Moscow, but with the closure of the plant and the advent of the uranium tailings dump, the settlement gradually fell into disrepair, unemployment reigned, and the local population had to survive as best they could: some got cattle, just like his grandfathers in the old days; some started opening their own small business for the production of necessary equipment, but the most popular business here is the hotel business and catering.

So beautiful well-kept houses with gardens, two- and three-storey buildings for the reception of tourists have grown up.

The wilderness is particularly attractive, and such areas are still here, far from the fenced-off areas of resorts and hotels. Huge layers of rocks form a kind of original wilderness landscape untouched by humans, and this is the peculiar beauty of wild beaches.

There are high mountains nearby that beckon with their beauty, there are a lot of them here, but mostly a variety of canyons, labyrinths of red, white and gray sandstone, are within walking distance. There are many hot springs in this valley, the locals know about almost every one. The area looks like some kind of Martian landscape with unusual vegetation and sparse trees.
