Every country in the world has its own natural treasures and wonders that attract the eyes of tourists and travelers, people from all over the world go there. And our republic has many such places. One of these natural wonders is Kel Suu Lake.
A real miracle of natural origin, which annually surprises not only tourists, but also the locals themselves, because you don't know every year whether it will appear this time or not, whether it will allow you to see it in all its glory or hide from the gaze of others again. As a result of a landslide back in the 80s, a natural bowl was formed, which eventually began to fill with meltwater from nearby glaciers and revealed unprecedented beauty.

There is something to be surprised about. Firstly, the lake itself is located at an altitude of 3,500 meters above sea level, and secondly, it will mysteriously appear on its own. Then it disappears, goes underground. Thirdly, the lake has such an incredibly beautiful emerald color that it fascinates anyone who sees this miracle with indescribable beauty - to the point of deep silence, when there are no words to admire, you just freeze.

And fourthly, it is a place of contemplation, and therefore there are not many people here (yet), there are no usual benefits of civilization.

In the distance there are yurt camps where you can feel like a real nomad - the way of life, the decoration of the yurts, everything, as in ancient times - you can taste the food of the ancient Kyrgyz, drink kymyz (fermented horse milk), relax against the backdrop of such beauty. You can continue to list, but it's better to see the rest with your own eyes. Getting there is not easy. It takes about 5-6 hours to get to Naryn by car, but then you'll have to walk or ride horses, it's difficult,but you won't regret the view.

The locals decided to diversify the leisure time of visitors. You can also admire the views of the beautiful lake, while going on a boat to explore the caves and see steep cliffs.

It is quite difficult to get to these places on your own (but possible), because a border pass is required in these places and it is best to contact local travel companies or a professional guide who will prepare all the necessary documents in advance. It's cool in summer, and you need to dress warmly. Although there are hot dishes and tea in the yurts, but since the road is long and you will also have to drive a lot along the dirt road, it is better to take a snack with you.
