The southern shore of Issyk-Kul harbors many picturesque places. One of them is the amazing Fairytale aka Skazka Canyon.
Just by the name of the canyon, you can guess that the area is unusual, magical. The area is a maze of sandy hills, caves, various landscapes with sparse vegetation and green shrubs. Small lizards run along the slopes of these mountains, merging with the background. The red-clay sandstone is full of different colors, as if Nature had specially honed her skills in painting colorful dunes and mountains, coloring them in crimson-copper, smoky gray, ash-ochre and light green-chocolate tones. But nature didn't stop there, and like a real Fairy, she lovingly sculpted the bizarre shapes of funny characters.

Fairy Nature has created a huge kingdom with paths between rocky peaks, mountain cave houses and burrows for invisible inhabitants. A narrow path meanders like a gray snake between the winding hills, you climb to the top of the cliffs and there is an overview of the cosmic landscape, as if you were on another planet.
You can't just say this place is beautiful. Not only is it beautiful here, there is an extraordinary landscape, a peculiar kind of clay-rocky mountains, a rich palette of colors is presented in the canyon - the Fairy Nature has worked in tandem with the Wind for thousands of years. The Sun, the Rain, and the Earth. And it allows us to admire its fantastic creation.
