The road from Bishkek to the south of Kyrgyzstan passes through high mountain ranges and the dangerous Too-Ashuu and Ala-Bel passes. The serpentine along the Too-Ashuu pass is rising higher and higher, the road has been reconstructed more than once, so it's not as scary as it used to be. Snow can always be seen in the highlands, even in summer, and in winter it is dangerous and accidents are frequent.…That's why the inscriptions are everywhere on the stones, shields - there are tow truck phone numbers. These inscriptions make me uneasy. The pass is difficult and long, passing through a tunnel three kilometers long. While passing through the pass, you will meet springs with crystal water, picturesque views of the mountains, high-altitude jailoo.
At the top, an irresistible force makes us to stop and consider the entire path that we have traveled and the winding serpentine is visible far below. It's hard to describe the feeling of incredible beauty - standing above the clouds, birds flying, and small dots of cars moving on the road.
At the top of the pass, it's better to take a break and admire the magnificent views from above - the natural landscape is impressive, with featherbed clouds spread out in front of your eyes.
After the tunnel, view at Suusamyr valley
It's hard to look away from panoramic views, here at an altitude of more than three thousand meters you feel completely different - such a tiny part of the vast world that it takes your breath away from the huge snow peaks, the piercing wind, from the majestic firmament, but you have to go further.
A line of cars slowly ascends the mountain, and the road is narrow and dangerous, there are a number of large fuel trucks and long trucks, I want to drive through a difficult section faster and finally descend.
There is a ski base with three trails not far from the pass, and there is always snow here, which attracts fans of active winter recreation, although it is difficult to get far and difficult, so they plan to stay overnight - there are cafes and guest houses for this. There is an equipment rental point at the base, you can rent skis, snowboards, and necessary equipment.
