There is a botanical reserve near Tyup, created with the aim of preserving the natural complex of flora and fauna. The territory of the nature conservation complex is huge and includes a valley of rivers, springs, rare species of trees, shrubs, and plants: the famous creeping juniper, patches of sea buckthorn, willow, honeysuckle, barberry, wild dog rose, coniferous forests, meadows of medicinal plants, shrubs, and various flowers.
Also near the village there is another zoological reserve in the upper reaches of the rivers Karkara and Tyup. And rare species of animals and birds are protected here. There are mountain sheep, mountain goat, maral, Tien Shan bear, snow leopard, Turkestan lynx, roe deer, wild boars, hares, foxes, marmots and rare mountain turkeys also live on the territory. Rare birds of prey nest in this reserve - vulture, bearded eagle, balaban, golden eagle.
The goal of all nature reserves is to preserve all kinds of animals, plants, and birds in natural high-altitude habitats in the mountains and alpine meadows.
